About Hurkur Associates - The Origins

The Hurkur Rocks were created some 400 million years ago, as a result of a collision between the European and North American continental plateaux.

During recent millennia, these nautical sentinels have presented a natural breakwater in the North Sea for a fishing community on the south-east coast of Scotland.

Now, Hurkur Associates can offer a breakwater for businesses by assisting in calming the turbulence that can be encountered in Change Management.

Founder and Principal of Hurkur Associates, Henry Collin was brought up in the fishing village of Eyemouth on the Berwickshire coast. Descended from a long lineage of fishermen, his forebears were always conscious of the perils of their profession, and of the shelter which the Hurkur Rocks provided in conducting their business.
